Caterpillar (CAT) has announced a new rugged smartphone called the B15 here at MWC 2013 in Barcelona, Spain. The phone is designed and manufactured by bullet under the Caterpillar branding.
The Cat® B15 thrives on a challenge. It’s made of tough stuff – hard knocks, scratches, water and dust don’t bother it. It’s also very smart. It runs Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is loaded with features like Wi-Fi, an FM radio, media player and file storage can be expanded using microSD cards. The 5MP camera captures the action with one-press continuous shooting.

The Cat® B15 is IP67 certified. That means it’s dustproof and waterproof. And, wet finger tracking means it keeps working with wet hands, when you’re caught in the rain or you fish it out of a puddle.
IMPACT RESISTANT
Aluminium body in a toughened, rubberised casing with minimal openings. Scratch-proof Corning® Gorilla® Glass screen. Drop it 1.8 metres head-first onto concrete and it bounces back – even the screen.
